A “Bioeconomy Strategy” was developed by the Japanese Cabinet Office to realize a bioeconomy society in the Integrated Innovation Strategy Promotion Committee.

Eight organizations across Japan have been certified by the Cabinet Office and are working together with the public and private sectors.

These certified bio-communities established an organizing committee in October 2023. “” was established to continuously hold international symposiums for the purpose of strengthening cooperation between Japan and other countries in order to expand the bioeconomy market by disseminating information globally from Japan.
